ALL OUR CUTTING TOOLS ARE COLLECTION ONLY

The Hultafors Craftsman's Knife HVK BIO is the standard knife we issue to our Forest School Leader trainees.

An inexpensive but highly effective tool which is great as an entry level investment. The handle is robust and the steel keeps a good edge. The scandi grind is easy to maintain and versatile for a wide variety of tasks. Additionally, the hard spine is suitable for raising tinder.

It is a more sustainable option to most bushcraft knives as the hilt is made from a bio-based plastic, its unique design uses less material, reducing the environmental impact. There is also a hole for a strap, enables you to secure the knife when working at heights.

The knife blade is manufactured from Japanese knife steel, 2.5 mm carbon steel that has been hardened to 58-60 HRC. The handle and sheath are made from extra durable PP plastic, the handle is bright orange making it easy to see when placed on the woodland floor.

The sheath has a belt loop as well as a button attachment and a large thumb lever to assist the easy removal of the knife from the sheath.
